A strong ESE wind is blowing making conditions really ugly yet again, Waves are still hanging at the 3-4ft mark from the ESE and really washy. Weather is still overcast rainy and cold. If your keen grab your steamer better yet the work clothes for today.

A strong ESE wind is blowing making conditions really ugly, the wind is holding the swell around the 3-4ft mark also from the ESE, but it is really choppy and bunched together. Not much at all happening with the weather either with it really overcast and the odd shower. All in all not much of a day and could be a good one to go back to work, if there is such a thing.

An E wind and swell this morning making conditions a little ugly. The swell has hung in there a bit from the sneaky groundswell that popped up yesterday morning to be around 3-4ft, but the wind is not cooperating this morning and conditions are quite messy. Not the best looking day either with it pretty overcast and the odd shower.

Monday 25th April 2011

Consistent 3ft sets this morning from the ESE, accompanied by a light W wind. Although conditions are pretty nice it seems to have a little morning sickness and the waves seem to have a little wonk through them, so hopefully as the day progresses it should sort itself out. Bit of an overcast day but a few little waves around.

Pretty similar conditions to yesterday, although slightly cleaner with a light SW wind and a 2-3ft SE swell. Some small lines are coming through but the waves seem pretty quick and a few closeouts. Nice looking day with a bit of cloud out to sea. Weather and water looking pretty good so probably still worth a paddle.

A bit chilly this morning with a cool SSW wind up early and a small 2-3ft SE swell. There is a lot of cloud built up to the S so expect the wind to swing more that way sooner than later, hopefully the wind may build the swell but today not looking too good.

Pretty similar conditions to yesterday with consistent 2ft waves coming in from the ESE, accompanied by a light W wind. Still some great shape waves but just lacking a little power. A little overcast this morning but still pretty mild temps, still worth a paddle.

The trend of the decreasing swell has continued with the waves around 2ft from the ESE, but the trend of good conditions has continued with a light W wind and a really good looking day. Waves again are lacking some push which is a real shame as the waves have some really good shape. Again the main reason to get wet is the nice weather. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Still some really nice conditions, however the swell has dropped to around the 2ft mark with maybe the odd 3ft set from the ESE. Another light W wind blowing, with a few lines of swell coming in. Waves are lacking some push but have some pretty good shape to them. Another good looking day and water temp is still pretty good, so while the weather is good it is still worth getting wet.

Still some waves hanging in there this morning around the 3ft mark from the ESE, accompanied by a light W wind. So conditions are really clean and there are nice little shaped peaks all over the place. Another nice looking day so dont hesitate.

Really nice day with really nice conditions and waves, it is around the 4ft mark from the ESE with a really light WSW wind blowing. Best waves in a while and really good to see the sunshine, take your pick as there seems to be some pretty good banks around and nice little peaks all over the place. Dont waste anytime in case that dreaded S wind comes back.

The continuous strong ESE wind has picked up the swell a little to be around 4-5ft also out of the ESE. The wind is making conditions pretty terrible and really messy and there will be nowhere to hide from this wind direction today. Bit of an overcast day today but slightly better than yesterdays conditions.

Rain has set in this morning, accompanied by a pretty strong ESE wind making conditions really messy. The swell is still only around the 3-4ft mark also from the ESE. Nowhere to hide from this wind today and conditions and weather making it very uninviting. Good rest day.

Swell has already kicked in a bit and is around the 3-4ft mark from the SE. The wind is out of the WSW but expect this to swing more to the S throughout the day and hopefully pick up the waves a little more. There are currently some pretty good shape waves,so best to hit it as early as possible, with the southern corners being the pick later. Bit of an overcast day but while there are waves it is worth getting out there.

The little bit of swell that popped up yesterday morning has hung in there to be still around the 2ft mark with the odd 3ft set from the ESE. It is still a little inconsistent but when they come through they are a really nice shape with a nice left and right peak. The wind is still a bit chilly from the WNW but making conditions nice and clean. Nice looking day and nice water temp, definitely worth a paddle today.

Pretty similar to yesterday, although there seems to be a few more defined lines of swell but only around the 1-2ft mark from the E. The wind is a really light W making conditions really clean. There is still a few bumps on the horizon but if the wind continues its W trend it just wont get a chance to come in. Another gorgeous day and again the main reason to get wet.

The morning winter chill is back but the summer waves are still with us, it is currently around 1ft from the ESE with a chilly WSW wind. The waves have some really good shape but just NO size, there are some lines coming through and some bumps on the horizon but if the wind stays W there is no hope of it coming in. Good looking day however and water temp is still pretty good.

Another chilly start to the day with a really small swell around the 1-2ft mark with a light WSW wind. The waves are very bunched again and lacking any power whatsoever. There are the odd little peaks but you will definitely have to work for them and maybe a good option would be the fish or longboard or sup. Little bit of cloud around but still not a bad looking day.

Another nice day with a small 2ft ENE swell with a fresh NW wind. There are small peaks all over the place but due to a small period swell the waves are very bunched and due to a low tide they are shutting down pretty quick. Again it is going to be due to this nice weather that will be the main reason for getting wet today. Water temp is still pretty good but that W wind feels pretty cool this morning.

Great looking day with great looking conditions, however there is not many waves, swell is around the 2ft mark from the E with a really light W wind. There are some fun little peaks around but the low tide is making it pretty fast and even a few closeouts, maybe when the tide fills in a bit it may hold up a little more. The best looking day in a while so this is the main reason to get wet today.

Swell has dropped a little to be around the 2-3 ft mark still from the ESE, it is a lot cleaner than yesterday with a light SW wind blowing. The waves are closing out a little due to a low tide and if the wind holds off the waves should be ok when the tide comes up. Still a pretty overcast day and a chance of rain but with the water temp still around 22 degrees may still worth getting wet.
