E wind and swell this morning, so both the wind and waves have swung a little more since yesterday. The waves are still around the 3ft mark and the wind is actually not blowing too hard as yet, so there are surfable waves this morning. Not sure how long this will last for and it all depends on what the wind does. Another really overcast day and could even be a chance of a shower.

ESE wind and swell this morning making conditions pretty ugly. The wind has only picked up the waves a little bit to be around 3ft and they are all over the place. There is nowhere to hide from this wind today and the weather is just as ugly, so all in all NOT much happening.
Tuesday, June 28, 2011
Well the wind has finally changed to the S picking up the swell a little to around 2ft from the SE. With the change in wind it has made conditions a little choppy even though the wind is still pretty light. Expect the wind to pick up a little stronger throughout the day and maybe pick up the swell a little more. A bit of cloud built up to the S so our good run of weather is looking like coming to an end.

Sunday, June 26, 2011
Pretty similar to the last few days with the swell dropping a little to be a consistent 2ft from the SE. The wind is still out of the W and making conditions clean, the waves are lacking a little push and with the slight drop in swell it is making you work for your waves, but like the last few days it is a nice day and W winds so always worth getting wet.
Saturday, June 25, 2011
Swell has hung around the 2-3ft mark from the SE and still accompanied by a light WSW wind. There are still pretty consistent lines of swell coming through but still just a little small. Another good looking day with some fun little waves, still worth a paddle.
Friday, June 24, 2011
The swell has spiked a little bit to be about 2-3ft from the SE with the wind a light WSW. Conditions are nice and clean but the waves are looking a little full, they have some nice shape but the new swell is still trying to sort itself out a little. Still worth a paddle with the nice but chilly weather continuing.
Thursday, June 23, 2011
A few more line of swell have started to appear this morning but the waves are still only around the 1-2ft mark from the SE. The wind is a pretty light WNW but as it is still out of the W it is still holding the swell out to sea. When they come through the waves have some really nice shape, but it is quite small and inconsistent. Nothing to complain about with the weather with another nice looking day but obviously still a little chilly with the W winds.
Wednesday, June 22, 2011
Waves are pretty non existent this morning with the strong W winds from yesterday and throughout the night pushing all the swell out to sea. the waves that are getting in are around 1ft from the SE but are not really breaking till they hit the shore. The wind is still out of the W, so dont expect things to change until the wind does. pretty nice looking day and a pretty good looking sunrise this morning.
Tuesday, June 21, 2011
Swell has finally gone with it around the 2ft mark from the ESE, the wind has also swung a bit to be out of the WNW, which has made conditions still pretty clean but has straightened the swell a bit. There are still some little lines coming through but they are just not breaking and if they do they have NO power at all. Another nice looking day and this is probably the main reason for getting wet today.
Monday, June 20, 2011
The waves have dropped a bit to around 3-4ft from the SE but are still looking really GOOD. The waves have a really good shape and with the slight drop in swell ALL the beach breaks are looking good. The wind is a light WSW and the day is looking pretty good, so take your pick of spots today.
Sunday, June 19, 2011
The swell just does NOT want to go away, it is currently a consistent 4-5ft from the SE with a light WSW wind. The waves are a pretty good shape but some of the beachies are NOT handling the size too well so maybe a bit of searching. Another nice looking day and still waves so get out there!
Saturday, June 18, 2011
Swell has picked back up to around 4-5ft this morning and swinging a little more to the South out of the SE, the wind is out of the WSW making it quite clean. There are some fun waves coming through with some pretty good shape, there is just a little wait for them. Pretty chilly this morning but all in all pretty good looking day.
Friday, June 17, 2011
Clean swell. offshore wind and a nice day...WOW...This hasn't happened for quite a while. The waves are around 4-5ft from the E, accompanied by a nice light W wind. There is a little wait and the waves are a little bunched, but hey its clean and 4-5ft, do NOT hesitate and take advantage while there are waves and a NICE day.
Thursday, June 16, 2011
The swell has dropped a little to around 4-5ft mark from the E, this is probably mainly due to the wind speed dropping a bit but still blowing pretty hard out of the ESE. Its still is VERY messy and choppy and still pretty unrideable and the weather STILL pretty bad and we can only hope for improved conditions in the next couple of days.
Wednesday, June 15, 2011
Well on a good note the swell has picked up to around 6ft from the E, the bad news is that the wind is still blowing really hard from the SE making conditions terrible and pretty much unrideable. The crap weather and wind is starting to get depressing and im sure evryone is going a little stir crazy, lets hope things improve in a few days.
Tuesday, June 14, 2011
Well didnt think it could get much worse, but think it has with really strong ESE winds trashing the ocean. The swell has straightened a little more to the E at around 4ft, but the waves just seem to be fighting the wind. Hate to call another lazy day but not much happening in the waves or weather department.
