Thursday 31st May 2012

Waves are still hanging around the 3-4ft mark from the SE, joined by a light to moderate S wind. The swell seems to have moved a little more to the S but is still looking a title lumpy and messy, there are some rideable ones but once again a bit of searching may be the go. A pretty overcast day and chance of a shower.

Wednesday 30th May 2012

A light to  moderate S wind is up early again and making conditions a little messy, the ESE swell has dropped a little and is around the 3-4ft mark. Again there are some rideable waves but the wind and low tide is making it a little challenging, again a little searching to be done. Another cloudy day with more chance of rain.

Tuesday, May 29, 2012

Tuesday 29th May 2012

Waves are hanging around and is still in the 4-5ft range out of the ESE, there is a pretty light to moderate S wind blowing putting a bit of a chop through the waves. There is still some rideable waves and still a bit of swell but may be just a little bit of searching to do, with the protected southern corners still the best bet. Not the best looking day with a few showers around.

Monday, May 28, 2012

Monday 28th May 2012

The predicted SE swell from yesterday has kicked in a little more and is around the 5ft mark. The waves still seem to be sorting themselves out and the beach breaks are having a little trouble handling the size, those protected southern corners will be the best bet today. A pretty cloudy day and a little chilly with moderate SW winds.

Sunday 27th May 2012

The wind has finally backed off and is currently a light W, making conditions pretty clean. It has allowed a little bit of swell to come in, but it is still only around the 2ft mark from the SE. Some consistent lines and some pretty nice peaks, so shouldn't be a problem to find a little bank to yourself today. A good looking day and the temps are pretty mild, worth getting wet.

Saturday, May 26, 2012

Saturday 26th May 2012

A chilly and howling W wind has been blowing all night and into this morning pushing any hope of swell out to sea, currently it is in the 1-2 ft range with a bit of a wait between sets. Due to the size and wind it is making conditions really difficult to surf, the waves are clean and have really nice shape, just lacking size and push. A pretty good looking day but quite chilly with the wind.

Friday, May 25, 2012

Friday 25th May 2012

There are a few more lines of swell this morning but still only around the 1-2ft mark from the E, the waves are ultra clean with a light/calm W wind. A lot more rideable today and there is some nice running lefts but still just lacking a little size and push. The rain looks pretty set in with it drizzling down this morning, temps are pretty mild so may be worth getting wet.

Thursday, May 24, 2012

Thursday 24th May 2012

Didn't think it could get much smaller but think it has, with the waves lucky to be 1ft this morning out of the ESE, joined by a light chilly W wind. Pretty much un surfable this morning and was luck to get a pic of a wave breaking. A pretty good looking day with a little bit of cloud around and still pretty chilly until the sun gets up.

Wednesday, May 23, 2012

Wednesday 23rd May 2012

Waves are are the smallest they have been i a awhile and are around the 1ft mark from the ESE, there is a light but chilly W wind blowing making conditions really clean. Not much on offer today with the W wind from yesterday and this morning holding out any swell that may be around, really good looking day and this will be the only reason to get wet.

Monday, May 21, 2012

Monday 21st May 2012

Waves are still hanging around and are mainly in the 2ft range with the odd 3ft set from the ESE, accompanied by a really light W wind making it really clean. There are some nice peaks all over the place with both running lefts and rights, still a little small but enough in it to have some fun. A partly cloudy day and depending on what the wind does she be a pretty good day of surf ahead.

Sunday, May 20, 2012

Sunday 20th May 2012

There are still some good line of swell coming through, however the swell has dropped to around the 2ft mark from the SE, joined this morning by a light SW wind. The waves still have some nice shape, just a little small, and there seems to be a fair bit of cloud built up to the S, so the wind may swing that way sooner than later. Still not a bad looking day and while there are still some small waves around it is still worth getting wet.

Saturday, May 19, 2012

Saturday 19th May 2012

Waves are still hanging around, just, and are in the 2-3ft range out of the ESE, with a light W wind blowing making it nice and clean. The waves have some rally nice shape, with lots of small peaks all over the place. Another great looking day and the water temp is still pretty good so definitely worth heading out today.

Friday, May 18, 2012

Friday 18th May 2012

Waves have dropped a little more and are in the consistent 3ft range out of the ESE, the waves look super clean with a light W wind blowing. Again some nice little peaks around and still enough size to give you enough push, a pretty nice looking day again and should be another good day of surfing again.

Thursday, May 17, 2012

Thursday 17th May 2012

Waves do not want to go away, with some nice peaks around the 4ft mark with the odd 5ft set from the ESE. A pretty light WSW wind is making conditions nice and clean and the wave shapes are looking really nice with peeling rights and lefts all over the place. Another good looking day and should be a pretty good day of surfing ahead.

Wednesday, May 16, 2012

Thursday 16th May 2012

Waves have backed off a little but are still in the 4ft range out of the SE, the wind is blowing pretty strong out of the SSW making conditions not too clean. The beach breaks are handling a little better but again a little searching will be in order to find those protected spots. A little cloud around this morning but not too bad a looking day, still quite chilly.
