Monday 31st Jan 2011

Slight drop in swell from yesterday with the waves around the 2-3ft mark out of the ENE. The wind is currently a light WNW so it is quite clean. There seems to be some nice little peaks around and with another nice day install and the water temp still around 21 degree mark it is definitely worth getting out there.

Sunday 30th Jan 2011

The swell that kicked in yesterday afternoon has backed off to be a consistent 3ft from the ENE. The conditions are really nice this morning with clear sky's and light WNW wind so worth hitting the waves asap.

Saturday 29th Jan 2011

E wind is up early and is quite strong, although saying that the waves aren't fully chopped up but are a little messy. The 3ft E swells still have some pretty good shape but obviously the wind is messing them up. The day is a little overcast but more sun then clouds at the moment and it is still pretty mild temps until you get too close to the ocean where the E winds hit you. Probably still worth a paddle while there are 3ft waves around but you still have to be pretty keen.

Friday 28th Jan 2011

Pretty YUK this morning with quite a strong ESE wind blowing and about a 2-3ft swell also out of the ESE. Nowhere to hide from this wind this morning so may be pretty hard to find a clean wave anywhere. Temp has dropped a little also, but if you are really keen may find a messy wave somewhere.

Thursday 27th Jan 2011

SE wind is up early this morning making conditions quite messy. There are still a few small waves around the 2ft mark with the odd 3ft er out of the ESE. Quite overcast this morning but still really humid temp, may sort itself out and hopefully be an ok day.

Wednesday 26th Jan 2011

Sorry no pics this morning due to a massive amount of sea mist around. The wind is also dead calm, so conditions look pretty clean (what i could see anyway). The swell is still around the 2-3ft mark and maybe out of the ENE. Once this all lifts think its going to be a pretty nice and hot Australia day and will be definitely worth getting wet. Enjoy and have a happy and safe Australia Day.

Tuesday 25th Jan 2011

The Southerly that cam through early last night has calmed down to be out of the SW. The swell is a bit confused with it being mostly out of the ESE with the odd ENE peak still coming in. The waves are still hovering around the 2-3ft mark but has a bit of a bump through it with the mix of swells. Still fairly clean and peaky and still quite humid conditions so still worth a paddle.

Monday 24th Jan 2011

Some fun little peak around this morning, mostly around the 2ft mark with the odd 3 ft sets. The swell is out of the ENE accompanied by a light NW wind, so conditions are pretty clean, however you may want to hit it as early a possible before the wind turns more to the E. All in all pretty fun waves around with quite a mild overcast day.

Sat Jan 22nd 2011

2 to 3 feet and from the south, so its south magnets only today unless you're riding longer equipment. Either way the NE wind will blow later so to make the most of the smooth and glassy conditions you best get a wriggle on. High tide is just before 11am.

Friday Jan 21st 2011

Pretty nice conditions this morning with some pretty nice 3ft peaky waves out of the ESE. The wind is a light WSW so nice and clean. Seems pretty consistent with peaks all over the the place, nice day also, so worth getting wet asap.

Thursday 20th Jan 2011

ENE wind up early this morning, accompanied by a 2-3ft ENE swell. Little bit messy this morning but some wave faces look relatively clean, so if your keen still worth a paddle while there are a few small waves. The tide is not helping too much with a high this morning, but there should be some small waves breaking all day. Overcast again but quite mild temps.

Wednesday, January 19, 2011

Wednesday 19th Jan 2011

Quite a calm and mild start to the day with the waves abating a little more to be around 2-3ft from the ESE. The waves are quite full and lacking power, although they might start breaking a little more with a lower tide. The wind is really still and if anything it is out of the SW. Couple of small peaks so still worth getting wet while there are still a couple of small waves.

Tuesday 18th Jan 2011

How quickly things change, swell has dropped to around the 3ft mark still from the ENE with the Southerly wind from yesterday still blowing has made conditions quite messy. The weather has also changed with a couple of rain clouds hanging around, hopefully evryone got there surfing in yesterday as not much happening today.

Monday 17th Jan 2011

A nice 4-6ft ENE groundswell has kicked in this morning with some nice lines of swell. It is a little inconsistent for the bigger sets but they look pretty good when they arrive. Wind is a light WNW so it is quite clean. If you can find the spots that handle the swell should be a good day of surfing.

Sunday, January 16, 2011

Sunday 16th Jan 2011

Maybe the first signs of the predicted swell this morning with some nice line of 4ft swells from the ENE. The only problem is that the wind has decided to change direction to the SSE. It isn't too strong yet keeping it relatively clean and keeping the waves in pretty good shape but it depends on how hard and what direction it stays for the waves to stay ok. Lets hope it continues to pick up.

Saturday 15th Jan 2011

Yep the trend continues with a 3ft NE swell still hanging around. The one difference is that the wind is really calm this morning however it is not as clean as you hoped with maybe a little bit of morning sickness. The consistent NE's have brought a slight drop in water temp also, lets hope for that slight swell increase predicted for this arvo and Sunday. Pretty overcast this morning but outside temp is still pretty warm.

Friday 14th Jan 2011

Groundhog day continues with a 3ft NE swell with a light NE wind. Not too much different from the last few day with some nice running lefts with the odd right. The wind is pretty light at the moment but still not ultra clean. Bit nicer start to the day with it quite warm already and scattered clouds. If your not sick of these NE swells yet still worth a paddle.
