Thursday 30th Sept 2010

Very similar to yesterday with a slight increase in swell, it is about 3ft out of the SSE, mostly due to the wind blowing so hard from yesterday. Swell is still pretty bunched, but is pretty clean at the moment with the wind out of the SW. The protected Southern corners are probably your best options, especially if the wind turns more to the South.

Wednesday 29th Sept 2010

Temperature has dropped and if possible the waves have also, currently it is about 2ft out of the SSE. Waves are very bunched due to quite a small period swell. The wind is also out of the South but still has a bit of West in it, not sure for how long though. Waves are predicted to pick up a little bit, but this may be only due to the Southerly wind.

Tuesday 28th Sept 2010

Yet another beautiful day with only small 2ft waves out of the SE. The wind is a really light WNW. Best conditions are right now with the wind expected to pick up later in the day out of the North. Could not ask for much better conditions but there is just a lack of swell, you may still find a little wave somewhere, maybe. take advantage of the nice weather as it is forecast to go cooler in the next couple of days.

Monday 27th Sept 2010

Nice clean 2 maybe 3ft waves this morning out of the SE. Wind is currently a light WSW. Beautiful day but just a little small in the waves this morning. Still worth getting wet in this weather.

Sunday, September 26, 2010

Sunday 26th Sept 2010

And the run continues, another beautiful day and some more good waves. swell has hung in there at around 3-4ft out of the SE and currently the wind is blowing a light SW. So conditions are really nice with some nice peaky waves. Again pretty crowded early so you may have to search to find a bank to yourself. Don't waste it.

Saturday 25th Sept 2010

Gorgeous day with nice clean 2-3ft waves out of the ESE. The wind is currently a light W. There are already a few crew out early, so expect it to be pretty busy today. Very summer y conditions so ENJOY IT!

Friday, September 24, 2010

Friday 24th Sept 2010

Beautiful conditions this morning with a really light W wind and 3-4ft waves out of the ESE. The swell has thrown the banks out a bit, but still some nice waves to be found. Definitely worth a paddle this morning.

Thursday 23rd Sept 2010

Pretty YUK this morning. Wind is up early out of the SE making it quite messy. Swell is still hanging in there to be around 4ft, but it has straightened up a little more to be out of the E. Not too much happening this morning, even for the keenest surfers, although there is still swell so may be still getting wet.

Wednesday, September 22, 2010

Wednesday 22nd Sept 2010

The Southerly from yesterday and last night has kept the swell up to be around 4-5ft. It is really calm wind this morning out of the W that you think would make it clean, however i think the swell has a bit of a hangover from the Southerly and it seems a little messy out of the ESE. Once the morning sickness works itself out could be some fun waves around, depending on what the wind does.

Tuesday 21st Sept 2010

Some nice looking waves this morning. Swell is around 3-4ft and has straightened up a bit to be out of the ESE. Super clean also with a light W wind. Gorgeous day and great looking morning. Definitely worth a paddle so do not hesitate.

Monday, September 20, 2010

Monday 20th Sept 2010

Wind is up pretty early this morning out of the SSW, making conditions a little choppy. Swell is still hanging around a little bit at around 4ft out of the SE. Pretty hard to escape the wind this morning but still swell and waves.

Sunday, September 19, 2010

Sunday 19th Sept 2010

Still some solid swells this morning in the 6ft+ range. The wind has come up early and is out of the SSW so making most places a little messy. Swell direction is from the SSE. Still some big sets coming through especially in the south facing beaches. So find those protected southern corners for more user friendly waves.

Saturday 18th Sept 2010

The massive swells that were predicted didn't quite live up to the hype. Waves are about the 4-6ft mark looking a little straighter then the last few days but still out of the SE. Wind is pretty light out of the W butt feels like it may pick up. There is a bit of a wonk through the waves this morning and it is looking a little lumpy. There are some pretty good looking waves although you will really need to look hard to find the right spot.

Friday, September 17, 2010

Friday 17th Sept 2010

Waves have kicked in a little from yesterday's pulse to be around 3-4ft with some bigger ones rolling through every now and then. Swell is out of the SE with plenty still out at sea, so lets hope it starts to roll through during the day. The wind is quite light out of the W. Some pretty good looking waves this morning so get out there. Bit chilly also with those W winds.

Thursday, September 16, 2010

Thursday 16th Sept 2010

Beautiful conditions this morning with the waves around 2-3 ft from the ESE. There are plenty of lines in the ocean this morning so lets hope for that predicted swell rise for this afternoon and tomorrow. Wind is a really light W. Definitely worth a paddle this morning.

Wednesday, September 15, 2010

Wednesday 15th Sept 2010

Waves are around the 2-3ft mark this morning out of the SE. It is looking pretty clean at present with the wind out of the SW, but there is a fair bit of cloud building to the South, so it may swing a little more to the S. Still worth a paddle at the moment but don't expect to stay clean for too long.

Tuesday, September 14, 2010

tuesday 14th Sept 2010

Pretty small out there this morning at around 1-2ft, with the swell swinging to the SE. The wind is up early and is already SSE and feeling like it may pick up and go more to the S. The wind is expected to pick the waves up a little bit but don't get too excited as it will be blowing pretty hard from the S. Not too much happening today even for the keenest or mos desperate surfers.

Monday, September 13, 2010

Monday 13th Sept 2010

Super clean this morning but only 1-2ft waves from the E. Really light WNW wind making it look very inviting except for the lack of waves. Pretty low tide which is helping it to break.

Sunday, September 12, 2010

Sunday 12th Sept 2010

Waves are still hanging in from yesterday but only around the 2 maybe 3ft range. Swell is still out of the SE but the waves are looking a little bunched this morning. Wind is out of the WSW and is quite light at the moment but feels like it may be picking up a little bit. Still some waves on this beautiful Sunday, so get out there.
