Wednesday 31st July 2013

Waves have picked up a little to be in the 3-4ft range from the ESE, but is mainly due to a light to moderate SSW wind that is making conditions a little bumpy. Still some rideable waves out there but with the change of swell and wind direction it is a little bumpy and messy and pretty unorganised with the waves quite close together. The weather has changed to with fair chance of rain around.

Tuesday 30th July 2013

Still a few lines coming though but still quite small in the 2ft range from the E, conditions are quite clean due to a light WNW wind blowing. Similar to last few days with a few nice peaks and some nice shaped sand banks around but just a little small. A partly cloudy day but still looks like it could be a good one.

Monday 29th July 2013

Very summer like conditions this morning with a small swell in the 2ft range from the ENE and a light WNW wind keeping it quite clean. There is still the odd good set coming through but just a little small, in saying that still worth getting wet with the nice little peaks. Another good looking day and just another good reason to get out there and take advantage of this good weather.

Wednesday 24th July 2013

Waves have picked as expected and are in the 5-6ft range from the SE, joined by a moderate SSW wind, making conditions fairly clean, although this could change if the wind swings more to the S. Beach breaks are having trouble handling the size, but with a bit of searching could find an ok wave, especially in the protected southern corners.  Waves are almost non existent this morning due to a light but chilly WNW wind, the odd wave that does break is in the 1 ft range and really close to shore, the swell is still out of the ENE and still really clean but lacking size. A great looking day and maybe when the tide drops a bit could be worth a quick dip.
