Monday 30th April 2012

Waves are back up and are in the 5-6ft range from the SE, with a light WSW wind. Waves are pretty clean and with the strong wind that has picked up the swell they seem to be still trying to sort themselves out a little. The beachies are not really handling, so maybe a bit of a search is in order. A pretty cloudy day and maybe even a chance of a shower.

Sunday 29th April 2012

Waves are still in the 3ft range from the SE, joined by a moderate SW wind. There are still some ok peaks around but again the lower tide is making it quite quick, the wind feels like it may swing more to the S sooner than later, so best bet is to hit it early or find those protected southern corners. A partly cloudy day and a little bit chilly.

Saturday 28th April 2012

Waves are still in the 3ft range from the ESE, with a light W wind. There are again nice looking peaks but just a little quick this morning with the lower tide, should get a little better with a higher tide. A pretty overcast day but pretty mild temps today, worth getting wet.

Friday 27th April 2012

Waves are still hanging around in the 3-4ft range mostly out of the SE, there seems to be a bit of a mix of swells this morning with the odd E swell coming through and making the waves a little bunched and unorganised. In saying that there are still some nice peaks and the wind is a light W, making it quite clean. Partly cloudy day and not to chilly out.

Thursday 26th April 2012

Waves are back, with the swell in the 4-5ft range from the SE, joined by a WSW wind. Really clean this morning with a change in swell direction bringing some nice looking peaks. A pretty overcast day and still a little chilly but some great looking waves and definitely worth getting out there.

Wednesday 25th April 2012

Again there are some good lines of swell but just lacking some size, waves are mostly around 2ft with the odd 3ft set out of the ENE, the wind is a chilly W making it nice and clean. Still really nice shape to the waves, just lacking a little push, really good looking day just a little chilly.

Tuesday, April 24, 2012

Tuesday 24th April 2012

Plenty of lines of swell coming through with nice clean conditions, with a light W wind, only trouble is the swell has dropped a fair bit and is around the 2-3ft mark still from the ENE. In saying that the waves still have some really nice shape, with long left still rolling through. A pretty good looking day and still waves so still worth getting wet.

Monday, April 23, 2012

Monday 23rd April 2012

Waves are still hanging around and are in the 4-5ft range from the ENE, joined by a light W wind. Pretty similar to last few days with some nice running lefts and the odd right, still really nice shape and some nice lines coming through. A pretty overcast day but there is waves so don't hesitate.

Sunday, April 22, 2012

Sunday 22nd April 2012

The swell doesn't want to go away with the waves in the 4-6ft range from the ENE, there are some great lines of swell coming through with some long running lefts, if there is anything to complain about the waves have a little lump through them, but hopefully should sort themselves out. The wind is a light W and a partly cloudy with a little chill in the air.

Saturday, April 21, 2012

Saturday 21st April 2012

Swell has dropped a little but is still in the consistent 3-4ft range from the ENE, The wind is up a little and is out of the SW, making conditions pretty clean depending on how much it picks up. There are some great running lefts, with some long walls and the odd barrels, definitely worth hitting it early, a pretty overcast day, with maybe the odd shower.

Friday, April 20, 2012

Friday 20th April 2012

A nice E swell has greeted us this morning with the waves in the 5-6ft mark and looking really nice, there are peaks all over the place with some nice running lefts and some solid barrelling rights. The wind is a light W and it doesn't get much better looking, a partly cloudy day, don't waste any time.

Thursday, April 19, 2012

Thursday 18th April 2012

Waves are in the consistent 3ft range with the odd 4ft set out of the ENE, joined by a really light WNW wind. Nice and clean this morning with some running lefts and the odd right, does look a little lumpy but should sort itself out. Rain looks still to be hanging around but definitely still worth a paddle.

Wednesday, April 18, 2012

Wednesday 18th April 2012

Waves have picked up a little to be around 3ft from the E, the wind isn't too bad and is currently out of the NW. There are some decent waves, and with the new E swell looks like it may keep picking up, the waves do look a little bunched though. The rain looks pretty set in but not too cold out.

Tuesday, April 17, 2012

Tuesday 17th April 2012

The waves are hardly breaking this morning and are lucky to be in the 1ft range from the ESE, the wind is up a little already and is out of the S. If the wind keeps blowing all day it may start to pick up but at the moment it is almost non existent. Not the best looking day either with the rain looking pretty set in.

Monday, April 16, 2012

Monday 16th April 2012

Ultra clean waves this morning but also ultra small, the waves are around 1ft from the E, joined by a light W wind. Some really nice shaped waves, but hardly breaking. A really overcast day with maybe even a chance of a shower, with the temp still quite mild.
