Friday 10th June 2011

Wind has backed off to allow the swell to start to come in, currently it is around the 4ft Mark from the SE accompanied by a semi light WSW wind. So conditions are pretty clean and the swell has picked up a little and not too bad of a day, so all in all worth a paddle, especially before the wind swings more to the S.

Thursday 9th June 2011

The strong WSW winds are still blowing and while there are a few lines of swell they are holding it out to sea. The waves are still around the 1-2ft mark from the SE and really NOT breaking until they are on the shore. Not really too much to surf today and probably worth the rest day especially with these chilly days.

Wedsnesday 8th June 2011

Well the waves have finally gone, with it currently around the 1ft mark from the ESE. The continuing W wind has pushed it out to sea. There are still a few lines coming through but just NOT breaking. Pretty chilly this morning so only for the really desperate.

Tuesday 7th June 2011

Waves dont want to go away and have popped back up a little to be a consistent 3ft from the SE. The wind is also being kind and is out of the W, the waves again are holding there nice shapes and are quite consistent. If there is anything to whinge about it is that they are a little bunched but still worth getting out there this morning/today as it is quite a nice looking day.

Monday 6th June 2011

l

The drop in swell has continued with the waves around 2ft with the odd 3ft set from the SE. The one thing that has continued is the great conditions with a really light W wind and a pretty nice day. The waves still have some great shape but just lacking that size we have had for the last few days, but while there are still waves still worth getting out there.

Sunday 5th june 2011

Still plenty of lines of swell coming through this morning but he waves have dropped a little to be around the 3-4ft mark from the E. The wind is again pretty light and out of the W, so waves and conditions are still pretty good. There are plenty of peaks around this morning and some nice running lefts, all the beachies are handling this morning, so go find a bank and get out there. Pretty nice looking day also.

Saturday 5th June 2011

Swell is lining up nicely this morning with consistent 5ft lines coming thru with even the odd 6ft er from the E. There is also a light W wind so surf and conditions dont get much better. The predicted E ground swell is here and looking pretty good. The day is partly cloudy but still looking good. Time to get out there.

Friday 3rd June 2011

Finally some good conditions with 4-5ft waves from the ENE accompanied by a light, yes light W wind. The best conditions for a while but in saying that the waves look a little bunched and still seem to be sorting themselves out from the constant wind battering. But hey there is waves and a light off shore wind so don't hesitate. Still a little overcast day but hopefully the worst behind us.

Thursday 2nd June 2011

Another wet day ahead by the looks of things with pretty ugly surf conditions, waves are still up around the 5-6ft mark but have swung more to the ENE, but the waves are getting smashed by a pretty strong ESE wind which has been blowing ALL night. Pretty un-surfable today, lets hope for conditions to improve from tomorrow onwards!

Wednesday 1st June 2011

Pretty similar to yesterday with a 5-6ft swell from the E accompanied by a pretty strong ESE wind. The swell has straightened up a little more but is still really chopped up with the strong winds. Looks like there are still a few showers around. Again nowhere to hide from this wind and probably another rest day, unless your keen to jump in to the Pacific ocean washing machine.
