Friday 30th Sept 2011
Swell has been halved by a strong WNW wind overnight and into this morning, it is currently about 2-3ft from the E, but if the wind continues to blow this hard may not be too much left by the end of the day. The one good thing is that the waves are ultra clean from the wind but is a little chilly. A pretty good looking day with some nice shaped waves.

Swell has kicked in a bit this morning to around the 6-8ft mark from the SE, with a moderate SW wind. Again the beach breaks have no chance holding the swell, so best to seek out those protected southern corners. Pretty chilly out this morning, especially the wind, so obviously the steamer will be a must.

Waves are still around the 4-6ft mark from the SE with a light W wind, making conditions quite clean. The beach breaks are still finding it hard handling the swell size, so again a bit of searching may be in order today. A really nice looking day, so should be a pretty good day of surfing ahead. PB.
