Sunday 31st July 2011
I didn't think it was possible but I think the waves are actually smaller than yesterday, it is about 1/2 a foot from the E and the waves are having trouble even breaking. The wind is a light WNW and it is another pretty good looking day. Still a good beach day but not so much for surfing.

wednesday 27th July 2011
Swell is still hanging in the 3ft range out of the SE, the wind has a bit more S in it and is out of the SW with a fair bit of cloud built up to the S it likely to swing more S throughout the day. The waves are fairly clean but are a little crumbly and seem to be lacking a little push, really overcast today and pretty much only for the really keen.

Tueday 26th July 2011
The swell has dropped a fair bit to around the 3ft mark from the ESE. The wind is a light W with pretty clear skys. There are still some nice lines coming through and have some really nice shape but it is a little inconsistent and a lot smaller than what we have become used to still worth a paddle though.

Monday 25th July 2011
Still some nice lines of swell coming through this morning in the 6ft range from the E. The wind is really light out of the W. Some great looking waves this morning and a lot more user friendly then the last few days, there are really consistent sets coming in and should be a great day of surfing. The weather is pretty overcast and lets hope the wind holds off.

Sunday 24th July 2011
Swell is still up around the 6ft+ range from the ESE. The wind is pretty light from the WSW making it fairly clean. The waves still have a bit of a lump through them but the size has settled down a little bit to make it slightly more user friendly. In saying there are still some solid sets coming through and maybe a bit of searching to do today. Much nicer day with plenty of blue sky so much easier to get motivated to get wet.

Saturday 23rd July 2011
Swell is still really big at around the 8-10ft mark and still quite straight out of the ESE. The wind is not too strong and is out of the SW, making it pretty clean but the size of the swell is making it look a little stormy. Might be pretty hard to find a spot handling today and may be a little hard to hide from the wind if it swings more to the S. A few showers around today also.

Friday 22nd July 2011
'MASSIVE' is the best way to describe today, 10ft+ this morning, the swell has straightened a little and is out of the ESE. The wind is actually pretty light out of the SW making it fairly clean, but the size is making it look a little messy. Will be hard to find a spot handling today and only for the VERY experienced, a lot of water moving. Sorry no pics this morning.

Monday 18th July 2011
Ultra clean this morning with a light W wind and a small 2-3ft swell from the E. The waves are a little inconsistent but when they come through they have some really nice shape. A little hard to get motivated after what we have had over the last 2 weeks but none the less still a few little waves. Overcast again but not too cold.

Sunday 17th July 2011
The waves have dropped a little from yesterday to be around the 4ft mark from the E, the wind is a really calm W making it nice and clean. With the swell straightening a little more it has made the waves a little lumpy and there are a few rips around the beach breaks, in saying that the waves still have some pretty good shape. Another really overcast day but not too cold and while there is still swell it is still worth a paddle.
