Friday 31st Dec 2010
Pretty similar to yesterday with a small and weak 1-2ft ENE swell accompanied by a light to calm WNW wind. Still some little peaks coming through just no push in the waves. Grab the fish, mal or sup to have a bit more fun and to catch some waves.

Good news is that the swell has picked up a bit to be around 3-4ft from the ESE. The bad new is that the wind is blowing pretty hard from the same direction ESE making it quite messy. Maybe the odd protected spot may be ok but pretty hard to avoid this wind. There are also some good solid lines of swell coming through so hopefully it may sort itself out in time.

Sunday 26th Dec 2010
Swell has dropped since yesterday and is around the 2ft mark from the ENE. There are a couple of small peaks but it is lacking any power. The wind is really light from the WNW so it is looking pretty clean. Not the best day to test out the new chrissy presents but it is a really warm day and with the water being quite good also definitely worth a dip.

The Strong wind blowing all night has kept the swell around the 3ft mark out of the ESE. The problem is that the the wind is also out of the ESE so it is really messy and choppy. There is no where to hide from this wind so it is either take it on or finish the chrissy shopping. Very overcast today so a good chance of rain.

A bit of swell is still hanging around at about 2-3ft from the SE. The wind is up already and is currently out of the SSW but feels like it is heading more to the S already. There are still some fun sets coming through but need to hit it now as the wind is swinging . Another good looking day and still worth the paddle while there is some swell around.

Tuesday 21st Dec 2010
The swell has kicked in but not quite as big as predicted, yet. It is a consistent 3ft at the moment from the SE with plenty of lines coming through. The wind is a predicted WNW and is pretty light but may pick up. The waves are a little full at the moment but are a great shape, after what we have been getting, there are NO excuses not to get out there. Nice looking day also.

Sunday 19th DEC
Flat yet again here on CentralCoast beaches. Lapping on the shore again at most locations. The wind has been swinging around abit the last few hours but it's that light surface conditions are clean. A swim is about all that the Pacfic can provide for us today, so don't bother bringing your boards. Get that shopping and those jobs out of the way, I'm sure it's going to be a crowded early-mid week line-up.

Sat 18th DEC
It has gone from small to very small. The tiny South windswell from yesterday has turned more to the east and is lacking any power what so ever. The wind is out of the west nor-west and the little waves that are there are really clean. Not a great start to the weekend unless you want some flat water SUP practice. At least the water temp is back to normal. Check the forecast for what hopefully is your saviour come early next week.

Friday 17th Dec
Small 1-2ft of windswell out of the south on this overcast morning. Wind is SSW and and there's NO swell in protected corners. I can't really even say it's worth a paddle. Hit the shopping centre and do that Christmas shopping so you don't have an excuse next week when there's waves forecast.

A Southerly change came thru about midnight last night making conditions pretty bad. Currently it is about 1-2ft from the SE with a SE wind. The Southerly has made the air temp drop a bit also but it is still quite a good looking day. Southern corners may be a bit more protected from the wind but just NO swell. Congratulations to the guys from North Shelly Boardriders who took out the Jim Beam Global Surf Tag on the weekend. Good luck for the Aussies!
