The predicted swell increase hasnt quite arrived...yet. Currently it is still around the 4ft mark from the SE with the wind from the SW. So it is still quite clean with a LOT of consistent lines of swell coming, however there is still not a lot to choose from with the banks shifting around with all the waves over the last week. Still in saying that still worth a paddle as it is 4ft and clean!

Still some nice lines of swell coming through although it has dropped a little to be around the 3ft mark from the SE. The wind again is really chilly from the W making it nice and clean. There still seems to be small peaks all over the place so take your pick, you have to just brave that chilly W wind.

WOW looks really good this morning and probably does NOT get much better. A 4-5ft SE swell accompanied by a chilly W wind. Take your pick this morning as there are waves EVERYWHERE! Nice and chilly this morning so will need the steamer for the wind chill. Don't hesitate!

A strong ESE wind is blowing making conditions really ugly yet again, Waves are still hanging at the 3-4ft mark from the ESE and really washy. Weather is still overcast rainy and cold. If your keen grab your steamer better yet the work clothes for today.

A strong ESE wind is blowing making conditions really ugly, the wind is holding the swell around the 3-4ft mark also from the ESE, but it is really choppy and bunched together. Not much at all happening with the weather either with it really overcast and the odd shower. All in all not much of a day and could be a good one to go back to work, if there is such a thing.

An E wind and swell this morning making conditions a little ugly. The swell has hung in there a bit from the sneaky groundswell that popped up yesterday morning to be around 3-4ft, but the wind is not cooperating this morning and conditions are quite messy. Not the best looking day either with it pretty overcast and the odd shower.

Monday 25th April 2011

Consistent 3ft sets this morning from the ESE, accompanied by a light W wind. Although conditions are pretty nice it seems to have a little morning sickness and the waves seem to have a little wonk through them, so hopefully as the day progresses it should sort itself out. Bit of an overcast day but a few little waves around.

Sunday 24th April 2011

Pretty similar conditions to yesterday, although slightly cleaner with a light SW wind and a 2-3ft SE swell. Some small lines are coming through but the waves seem pretty quick and a few closeouts. Nice looking day with a bit of cloud out to sea. Weather and water looking pretty good so probably still worth a paddle.

A bit chilly this morning with a cool SSW wind up early and a small 2-3ft SE swell. There is a lot of cloud built up to the S so expect the wind to swing more that way sooner than later, hopefully the wind may build the swell but today not looking too good.

Pretty similar conditions to yesterday with consistent 2ft waves coming in from the ESE, accompanied by a light W wind. Still some great shape waves but just lacking a little power. A little overcast this morning but still pretty mild temps, still worth a paddle.
