Monday 20th August 2012

 Waves are back up and are in mostly the 3ft range with the odd 4ft set from the SE, conditions are also nice and clean with a light W wind. Some good looking peaks around and is quite consistent, so should not be a problem to find a wave today and hopefully the wind plays nice. Another good looking day but still just a little chilly start to the day.

 The W wind has backed off and let some small lines of swell through, but still only in the 1-2ft range from the SE. The waves have some really nice shape, but like the last few mornings is quite full and lacking much push. A pretty good looking day and if the wind holds off could be worth getting wet.

Saturday 18th August 2012

 Waves are almost non existent this morning with the odd 1ft wave breaking just before the shore, there is a chilly W wind which is holding the swell out to sea. Not a good chance of catching a wave today especially with the W wind continuing to blow. Not a bad looking day, but pretty chilly with the wind.

Friday 17th August 2012

 Waves have dropped a little more and are in the 1-2ft range from the SE, with a light W wind. Conditions are nice and clean and there is still the odd peak coming through but it is a little slow and a little full with the higher tide, a little searching to find a wave today. Another good looking day and this is the main reason to get wet today.

Thursday 16th August 2012

 Waves are still hanging around the 2-3ft range from the SE, joined by a light W wind. Nice and clean this morning with some fun little peaks with it still a little full with the high tide but again should not be a problem to find a wave today. Another pretty good looking day and definitely worth getting wet.

Wednesday 15th August 2012

 Waves have dropped a little more again but are still in the consistent 3ft range from the SE with a light W wind. Again some nice peaks all over the place and if there is one complaint it is a little full with the high tide, but should not be a problem to find a good little wave today. A nice looking day with another great looking sunrise.

Tuesday 14th August 2012

 Waves and weather are looking pretty good this morning with the swell hanging in the 4-5ft range from the ESE joined by a light WSW wind. Some great looking peaks with the beach breaks looking really good, should not be a problem to find a wave today. A great looking day with plenty of lines of swell coming through, get out there.

Monday 13th August 2012

 Waves have settled down a little but are still in the solid 6ft+ range from the SE, the wind has also calmed down and is a fairly light SW. The waves are still looking a little lumpy and unorganised but are a lot more user friendly and should be a few options today to get wet. A pretty cloudy day with still a few dark clouds hanging around.

Sunday 12th August 2012

 Big and messy is the best way to describe the waves today, the waves are in the 10ft+ range from the SE with a fresh S wind. A good search to find a place protected from the wind and handling the swell size, a pretty overcast day and still a chance of more showers.

Saturday 11th August 2012

 Waves are not quite as big as expected but are still in the solid 6ft range from the SE, the wind has even backed off a bit and is out of the SSW making conditions semi clean. Still to big and stormy for most beach breaks and a bit of searching could find some rideable waves, just have to brave the conditions with the rain pretty set in and the wind pretty chilly.
