Friday 10th August 2012

 Waves and wind has picked up, with the swell in the 4-5ft range from the SE and the wind a bitterly cold SSW. There are some rideable waves, with the beach breaks just handling the size but with a little bit of searching could be some ok waves, with the protected southern corners the best bet. A partly cloudy day but really chilly.

 Waves have disappeared again and are in the 1ft range from the SE, the conditions are looking really nice with a light to moderate W wind making it nice and clean. Plenty of lines coming through but just not enough size and push, maybe a bit of searching might find a little more but not too much happening today. A pretty nice looking day with a little bit of cloud and a really nice sunrise.

 Some fun little waves around this morning with the swell hanging around from yesterday and is mostly in the 3ft range with the odd 4 ft set form the ESE. A nice light W wind this morning adding to the nice conditions, some fun peaks all over the place and shouldn't be a problem to find a wave. Another great looking day, so don't hesitate and get out there.

Tuesday 7th August 2012

 Waves have picked up a little bit and are in the 1-2ft range from the SE with a light WSW wind blowing. Still the waves are not offering too much with a lack of push and are looking quite bunched with a small period swell. Another good looking day and again the main reason to get wet.

Monday August 6th 2012

 Waves are almost non existent this morning with a tiny 1ft swell with a light W wind. There will have to be some searching today to find those spots that suck in the swell and even then it will be pretty hard to find something rideable. The best thing is the weather with another really good looking day ahead and this is the only reason to get wet today.

Sunday 5th August 2012

 Still plenty of lines of swell coming through and nice and clean and also some really nice shapes, however the waves are only in the 1-2ft range out of the SE. A really good looking day and a nice light W wind and these are the main reasons for getting wet today.

Saturday 4th August 2012

 Waves are still hanging around in the 3ft range with the odd 4ft set from the SE, the wind is a light W, making conditions nice and clean. Again there are some nice shaped waves with small peaks all over the place. Another pretty good poking day and definitely worth getting wet.

 Waves have settled down and are looking really nice and a lot more user friendly, currently the waves are in the 4-5ft range from the SE with a light WSW wind. The beach breaks are looking really nice with some good looking lines coming through, definitely worth getting out there asap. A partly cloudy day with still a nice chill in the air.

 Waves have backed off a little, but are still really solid in the 6ft range from the SE. The wind is a bitterly chilly SSW, making conditions semi clean, again the beach breaks aren't handling the size and again more searching to find those protected spots handling the size. Pretty good looking day but with a really cold wind.

Wednesday 1st August

 WOW! BIG Wednesday...some really big and clean waves breaking this morning in the 8-10ft range from the ESE, joined by a light to moderate WSW wind. Only for the really experienced today with some really nice looking waves but really solid, a bit of searching to find those spots handling the swell but should be some waves to be found for everyone. Not a bad looking day, although there is a bit of cloud hanging around, definitely worth a look today.
