Saturday 30th June 2012

Waves look really nice with consistent 3ft lines of swell coming through with the odd 4ft set, joined by a nice light W wind. Some nice running lefts and it is the most organised the waves have been in a while, there is also the odd punchy right. Definitely worth getting out there this morning with a nice looking day also.

Friday 29th June 2012

Some nice looking peaks this morning in the consistent 3ft range from the E, nice and clean also with a light W wind blowing. The banks are still a little suss with a few gutters around the place but he back banks are looking pretty good. Another overcast day with a chance of a shower.

Thursday 28th June 2012

Waves are still in the 3ft range out of the ESE, joined by a light SSW wind. Even thought the wind is quite light the waves are still a little messy with a few rips running through, the low tide is not really helping either. There is the occasional rideable one but a bit of a wait, pretty overcast day and could even be a chance of a shower.

Wednesday 27th June 2012

Waves have picked up a little more and are in the 4ft range from the SE, there is a light S wind blowing, making conditions a little choppy. The banks have been destroyed in the previous swell and with the low tide is not leaving many options, there is the odd one that holds up and that doesn't have a rip running through it but a little far between. Again the protected southern corners are the best bet, not the best looking day either, with a chance of a shower.

Tuesday, June 26, 2012

Tuesday 26th June 2012

Waves have picked up a little more and are in the 3ft range from the SE, joined by a moderate S wind. Mostly a wind swell this morning and conditions are a little choppy with the protected southern corners the best options. Rain looks pretty settled in this morning making it a little hard to get motivated.

Monday 25th June 2012

Waves have dropped again and are in the 1-2ft range out of the SE, joined by a light a chilly W wind. Again the waves have some really nice shape but just not enough size to give enough push, maybe a bit of searching to find the swell magnet spots but will be lucky to find too much today. Another good looking day.

Sunday, June 24, 2012

Sunday 24th June 2012

There are a few more distinctive lines of swell this morning but still pretty small and mostly in the 2ft range with the odd 3ft set. The banks have been a little battered by the swell, with a few gutters around, but while some banks have disappeared other have popped up and the waves still have some pretty good shape. Pretty good looking day with a light but chilly W wind blowing.

Saturday June 23rd 2012

The good news is that the wind has backed off and is a light WSW, making conditions nice and clean, the bad news is that the strong winds from yesterday has pushed any hope of swell out to sea and the waves are only just breaking in the 0.5ft range from the ESE. Good luck again finding a wave as most are just lapping up on the shore, really nice looking day but quite chilly.

Friday 22nd June 2012

Wow.... not much at all happening today with the waves about as flat as could be, the one's that do come through are lapping up on the shore. The best thing about the morning is the gorgeous sunrise and calm W wind, good luck on finding a wave today.

Thursday, June 21, 2012

Thursday 21st June 2012

Waves are still in the 3ft range from the ESE, there are still plenty of lines coming through with some really nice shape but are still a little full with the higher tide. Another nice looking day and another chilly WSW wind blowing.

Wednesday, June 20, 2012

Wednesday 20th June 2012

Waves are back up a little to be in the consistent 3ft range with the odd bigger set out of the SE. The waves still have some pretty good shape and with the bigger sets they are having no trouble breaking with the higher tide but they are still a little full. A pretty good looking day again with a chilly but light WSW wind blowing.

Tuesday, June 19, 2012

Tuesday 19th June 2012

Still plenty of lines of swell coming through from the SE this morning, the only problem is that it is in the 2ft range and is having trouble breaking due to the higher tide. There is a little wait in between sets and when they come they have some pretty nice shape, should be a bit better on the lower tide. A pretty good looking day with a chilly but light WSW wind.

Monday, June 18, 2012

Monday 18th June 2012

Swell has backed off this morning and is in the 3ft mark from the SE, joined by a light W wind. The waves still have some pretty good shape but seem to be lacking a little push until the sets hit. A pretty good looking day and still waves so worth getting out there.

Sunday, June 17, 2012

Sunday 17th June 2012

Waves just don't want to go away and is currently in the 4-5ft range from the ESE, a pretty tough paddle out at the beach breaks but definitely worth it with some nice running lefts and punchy rights, should be no problem finding a wave today. The wind is a chilly WSW and looking like a nice day for once, don't hesitate.

Saturday, June 16, 2012

Saturday 16th June 2012

Waves have dropped pretty quick and are in the 3ft range from the E, joined by a really light W wind. Waves have some really nice shape with small peaks all over the place, it is also a lot more user friendly today and while there is still a bit of swell left there are still plenty of options. A bit of an overcast day but quite mild temps, definitely still worth getting wet.

Friday, June 15, 2012

Friday 15th June 2012

Waves are looking really nice this morning and a lot more organised out of the ENE, still pretty solid and around the 5-6ft mark, beach breaks are only just handling with a hard paddle out but the rewards will be worth it, still a little searching could be in order. A pretty overcast day with a light W wind blowing, don't hesitate.
