Friday 30th Sept 2011

Swell has been halved by a strong WNW wind overnight and into this morning, it is currently about 2-3ft from the E, but if the wind continues to blow this hard may not be too much left by the end of the day. The one good thing is that the waves are ultra clean from the wind but is a little chilly. A pretty good looking day with some nice shaped waves.

Monday 26th Sept 2011

A strong E wind is still hanging around and making surf conditions very choppy, the waves have picked up a little to be in the 4-5ft range also out of the E, but with this wind it is really messy. Very overcast day and maybe a chance of a shower and still NO where to hide from the wind.

Sunday 25th Sept 2011

E wind and swell this morning making conditions pretty ugly, the waves are still around the 3-4ft mark but are pretty choppy from the E wind. The weather isn't too good either with a couple of showers around. Only for the really keen this morning with no where to hide from wind or weather.

Saturday 24th Sept 2011

The strong southerly wind from yesterday afternoon has picked up the waves to around the 3-4ft mark from the ESE. The wind is still from the S but isn't too strong yet but still enough to put a little chop through the waves. Pretty overcast day and maybe a chance of a shower.

Friday 23rd Sept 2011

Hardly breaking this morning with a 1ft ENE swell with a W wind. Again there is a little chill in the air but the day itself is looking amazing, again. It is just a shame that there are NO waves to take advantage of this beautiful weather.

Thursday 22nd Sept 2011

Small 2ft ESE swell this morning with a SW wind, not too much happening with the waves looking a little powerless. There is still a chill in the air this morning but the day is looking really nice.

Wednesday, September 21, 2011

Wednesday 21st Sept 2011

1-2 ft waves from the ESE this morning lacking push again and looking a little slow. The wind is out of the W, making conditions quite clean, the day is looking really nice although there is a bit of a chill in the air.

Tuesday, September 20, 2011

Tuesday 20th Sept 2011

The wind is already up this morning out of the NW and has also swung the swell to the ENE. The waves are only around the 2ft mark and are looking quite powerless, again you will need the fish or longboard to get going in these waves, a bit of an overcast looking day.

Monday, September 19, 2011

Monday 19th Sept 2011

The strong winds from yesterday afternoon has picked up the swell a little to be a consistent 3ft from the SE. The wind is quite calm this morning out of the W and the waves have some pretty nice shape with small peaks all over the place. Partly cloudy morning but the temp is still pretty warm.

Sunday, September 18, 2011

Sunday 18th Sept 2011

Summer dribble is the best way to describe the waves today, with a 1-2ft ESE swell and a light SW wind. Best to pull out the longboard or sup as the waves have no push at all, the best thing is the weather with a gorgeous looking day ahead.

Saturday 17th Sept 2011

o

Waves are trying to hang in there at a consistent 2ft from the ESE, but a light S wind is up early this morning making the waves a little crumbley. The day is looking pretty good and quite warm and again this is probably the main reason to get wet today.

Friday, September 16, 2011

Friday 16th Sept 2011

Waves are still quite small around the 1-2ft mark from the ESE, the wind is really light out of the W making conditions ultra clean. The waves still have a really nice shape, but just not enough height or push, gorgeous looking day and the main reason to get wet today.

Thursday, September 15, 2011

Thurs 15th Sept 2011

Waves have dropped again and are only around the 2ft mark from the ESE, the wind is up early this morning out of the ESE, making conditions a little choppy. Not too much to get excited about today, especially after last few days, and the weather is a little overcast.

Wednesday, September 14, 2011

Weds 14th Sept 2011

Waves have dropped a little this morning to be a consistent 3ft from the ESE with a light W wind. Another gorgeous day, with the waves still having a really nice shape, again take your pick this morning with most beach breaks looking good.

Tuesday, September 13, 2011

Tues 13th Sept 2011

Really nice waves, weather and wind this morning, with 4-5ft waves from the SE, a gorgeous day and light W winds. Good conditions for everyone today with peaks all over the place, the waves seem quite consistent and there are even a few running rights and lefts. Don't hesitate this morning!

Monday, September 12, 2011

Monday 12th Sept 2011

Swell has kicked in a bit this morning to around the 6-8ft mark from the SE, with a moderate SW wind. Again the beach breaks have no chance holding the swell, so best to seek out those protected southern corners. Pretty chilly out this morning, especially the wind, so obviously the steamer will be a must.

Sunday, September 11, 2011

Sunday 11th Sept 2011

Waves are still around the 4-6ft mark from the SE with a light W wind, making conditions quite clean. The beach breaks are still finding it hard handling the swell size, so again a bit of searching may be in order today. A really nice looking day, so should be a pretty good day of surfing ahead. PB.
